This year we will be producing a school-wide memory book. Preorders are being taken now through November 21st at the cost of $20 for each book. Flyers and payment envelopes have been sent home. Please include cash or a check made out to Vista Grande for your payment. Prices will go up in $5.00 increments after November 21st.

We now have 2 full Science Field Day Teams. We will have 2 student meetings on November 18th and 19th. The first will be to go over the event information. The second meeting will be when we are selecting our events. For more information on the events, go to this website .

The Science Lab, www.mattermasters.com , has been updated. However, the website is just a baby and does not have much content as of yet! I know that the students in 5th grade were interested in viewing a video that I showed in the classroom. The video is available on the Earth Science page.

After viewing this video and showing it in class, I discovered that a more recently discovered star is now considering the "largest known star." See the website for more information.
