View Ms. Dropkin's Classroom Website. Classroom ManagementThe classroom management plan is a To Be Successful program. Each child begins the week wit a sheet with affirmations of how to be successful in Room 209. They are broken down by Being A Good Learner, Rug Time, Transitions Times, and Lines. If they are having an issue in an area during the day then they put a tally mark by the category. Every Friday the To Be Successful sheet will be taken home and it needs to be returned with a parent signature on Monday. Please look for this and praise your child if they did well or try some positive reinforcement for behavior to be improved. Thanks for your support on this! Curriculum and Areas of Special InterestIn math we concentrate on multiplication and division. Also we make the transition from manuscript to cursive. We are fortunate in third grade to do some team teaching. Teachers and students gain wonderful experiences in Social Studies, Science, and P.E.. Each third grader gets the value of learning from other third grade teachers. Homework
Pink slips will be given if a child has not turned in homework on time or has incomplete assignments. Please sign these and they should be brought back the next day. Other Homework
